Purpose

Screen for Cervical Sidebending ROM findings.

Execution

  1. 1Sit tall with shoulders relaxed
  2. 2Keep the nose and chin facing forward
  3. 3Side-bend the head toward the shoulder
  4. 4Avoid rotation or shoulder hiking
  5. 5Repeat on the other side

Protocol

  1. 1Observe from: frontal.
  2. 2Standardize start position and instructions.
  3. 3Perform 2-3 trials per side when applicable.
  4. 4Record key observations and any positive indicators.
  5. 5Compare left vs right when applicable.
