Screen for Hawkins-Kennedy findings.
Execution
- 1Elevate the arm to 90 deg of shoulder flexion
- 2Flex the elbow to 90 deg
- 3Stabilize the shoulder and internally rotate the arm
- 4Observe pain or apprehension
- 5Compare sides
Key Observations
- Shoulder flexion 90 deg with forced internal rotation
- Pain indicates a positive test
Protocol
- 1Observe from: frontal.
- 2Standardize start position and instructions.
- 3Perform 2-3 trials per side when applicable.
- 4Record key observations and any positive indicators.
- 5Compare left vs right when applicable.
