Execution
- 1Lie supine with knees bent and low back neutral
- 2Raise both arms overhead toward the floor
- 3Keep ribs down and avoid lumbar extension
- 4Observe whether the arms reach the floor
- 5Compare sides if tested separately
Key Observations
- Inability to reach overhead
- Compensatory lumbar arch
Protocol
- 1Observe from: supine, lateral.
- 2Standardize start position and instructions.
- 3Perform 2-3 trials per side when applicable.
- 4Record key observations and any positive indicators.
- 5Compare left vs right when applicable.
