Assesses subacromial impingement.

Screen for Neer Impingement findings.
Execution
- 1Stand with the arm internally rotated (thumb down)
- 2Passively flex the arm overhead in the scapular plane
- 3Stabilize the scapula to limit upward rotation
- 4Note pain near end range
- 5Compare sides
Key Observations
- Passive flexion with the scapula stabilized
- Pain indicates a positive test
Protocol
- 1Observe from: frontal.
- 2Standardize start position and instructions.
- 3Perform 2-3 trials per side when applicable.
- 4Record key observations and any positive indicators.
- 5Compare left vs right when applicable.
