Screen for TFL Frontal Plane findings.

Execution

  1. 1Set the client in the modified Thomas position
  2. 2View the test leg from the frontal plane
  3. 3Observe thigh alignment relative to the trunk
  4. 4Note abduction at rest indicating TFL stiffness
  5. 5Compare sides

  1. 1Observe from: frontal.
  2. 2Standardize start position and instructions.
  3. 3Perform 2-3 trials per side when applicable.
  4. 4Record key observations and any positive indicators.
  5. 5Compare left vs right when applicable.
